As you can see from the pictures, a lot of hunters use the cur dogs for hog hunting, although most of them know that some terrier blood gets the job done better. These guys that I went out hunting with knew their business; the red sow in the picture, ran for about two hours before she slowed enough for the dogs to catch her. They stuck her and she went down in seconds, (too fast for me to get a picture), and in about 10 minutes they had her field dressed. When we got back to the house, it only took them about 40 minutes and they had that hog cut up and she looked like a display at your local meat market.
Too bad I don't eat pork.
